The Correctional Service Solomon Islands (CSSI) Commissioner Gabriel Manelusi has conducted an official visit at Rove Central Correctional Centre (RCCC) today, purposely to update RCCC Managements, Staff and Inmates on the progressions and Executive Management support to the Centre.
Commissioner Manelusi when delivering his short presentation to Convict and Remand inmates at RCCC. He encourage them that I come with greetings from the Government, Churches, Traditional Leaders, CSSI families and People of Solomon Islands with their support and prayers for inmates resided in our Centres across Solomon Islands.
“I thank God for gracing us, brother, sister inmates and my RCCC staff, since the beginning of 2020 the world been faced with COVID-19 and our country is still free from this global pandemic and we thank God’s mission to save the world and he did not send his son into this world to condemn the world but to save the world through him, rescue, heal and preserve the world. You and I must believe, trust confidence, commit to follow Jesus”, says Manelusi.
Manelusi highlighted a lot of important aspects for the organisation in terms of Infrastructure Developments, Human Resources Capacity Developments, Government priorities, Parole Board updates, Inmates Rehabilitation Programs update and the organization COVID-19 strategies and combat focuses
He adds, your mission and my mission is to heal the heart and heal our mind before we can change the world. We need to change first in our life before we can change others. He encourage every Convict and Remand Inmates of RCCC to respect the law, respect the Correctional Centres properties, respect our Correctional Officers and respect each other as we progress together for the future of this organization, God bless you and God bless our Nation, Solomon Islands.
Meanwhile Commandant RCCC and his Management do acknowledge and thank the Commissioner and his Executives for the tremendous visit.
